Fixit Plug It Anchoring Epoxy

Task difficulty: Quite easy

Specially developed to secure fixings (e.g. screws) in irregular shaped or problematic holes. The epoxy technology sets rock hard around fixings ensuring a permanent repair for weights up to 20kg.

How to use

  1. Cut a length of strip sufficient for the hole to be filled. Use approximately 2-3cm of product for a medium sized hole (20mm deep x 12mm wide).
  2. Remove the protective film from both sides of the strip.
  3. Wearing suitable gloves, knead the strip until a uniform colour is obtained. Slight wetting with water improves workability.
  4. Using a flat bladed tool, push product into the hole until it's fully filled and flush with the surrounding surface. Product remains workable for up to 4 minutes.
  5. Insert the screw half way into the centre of the hole using light finger pressure to create a pilot hole. Leave the screw in place to set for 1 hour.
  6. Using a screwdriver carefully remove screw, position the fixture (e.g. bracket or shelf) and then fully tighten screw until flush with fixture (do not over tighten). Always follow the manufacturers instructions for the fixture.
  7. Do not use the product for hanging objects over 20kg.
Storage
Do not store in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Product should be used within 12 months of opening.
